Sanjay Suri is a seasoned IT and cybersecurity leader with over 40 years of experience, most notably as former Head of Digital Technology at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). He founded Future IT Advisory to bring the same rigour to strategic consulting in digital transformation, cybersecurity, cloud strategy and process optimisation.
He serves as an Independent Advisor to the Oil Industry Safety Directorate (OISD), conducting cybersecurity audits and promoting maturity models across the Oil & Gas sector, and as Visiting Advisor to Engineering Projects (India) Limited (EPIL), a Miniratna Category-I PSU, spanning HR/HCM digital initiatives, IT modernisation and governance, and AI-led solutions.
Across his career he has led SAP rollouts, cloud migrations on Microsoft Azure and AWS, MIS modernisation and mobile app development — leadership in digitalisation and business continuity planning that has left a lasting mark on national IT operations. He now conducts hands-on Generative AI and cybersecurity workshops for PSUs, corporates, defence establishments and academic institutions across India.
